Behaviour, Puppyhood and beyond
When it comes to puppies, starting right is all important. What they learn in their first 16-18 weeks of life (this is called their socialisation window) will stay with them for life.
In the balance of nature / nurture, you can stack the odds in favour of nurture during this time.
This is the time (and most of it is before puppies are fully vaccinated, and therefore aren't allowed to attend puppy classes), when you need to be teaching your dog the behaviours you would like to see when they are fully grown.
